Hello there! You may have been wondering what we were up to at tuxcademy. Here's some recent news:
Just posted the Linux Essentials manual in German. This is mostly the old Linup Front training manual, in the new tuxcademy livery. The English version has a few issues with the objectives tables in the LPI appendix, which I hope to sort out soon. I'll also look into updating the content to correspond to the current version 1.5 of the LE objectives, but in the meantime the manual should still be useful as it is.
Just a quick note to let you know that tuxcademy isn't dead yet! I'm working on cleaning up our custom build system so I can finally release source code for the manuals. This mostly means throwing stuff out that is no longer needed.
It's February now and some more news from tuxcademy are long overdue! I spent some time in January tweaking the LaTeX sources for the LPIC-1 manuals in order to get them ready for publication, so there has not been a lot of visible change to the web site.
The Linup Front LPIC-1 training manuals are now available for free download from this site. Enjoy!
